I've finally figured out how to work from home doing something I love...

Is it really possible to work from home?
YES!! I've spent so many years agonizing (yes, it was truly painful at times) over what I wanted to "do with my life." I always felt that the work I do is a direct reflection on who I am, so it's been a huge journey of self-discovery.

I realized only recently that I do best when I'm self-employed, and can utilize my creativity and passion daily. It's not about me "being" something (ie a teacher, writer, etc), but rather about regularly accessing key parts of me, so that I feel stimulated, productive, and HELPFUL!

Since having my beautiful daughter, working from home changed from a far-off dream into an immediate necessity. I was so fortunate to stumble across Site-Build-It during a late-night internet search, and it's been the key in turning my passion into my livelihood.

Before SBI, creating a website, especially as a business, wouldn't have even entered my awareness, let alone my capabilities! Now I fit work into my life, wherever I am. Sometimes I spend an hour a day, sometimes 5 or more (depending on my baby's mood). And the honest truth is that sometimes I go a week or so without getting a chance to work on my site. But the beauty is that I know it's still there, waiting. And there are people out there, reading...(hopefully). And, yes, there is money coming in!

I don't want to give the impression that this work is easy - it takes time, effort, and brainpower. But I love it! And if you're dedicated, there's no limit to the creativity and earning potential. I find myself totally stimulated by this work - I'm constantly seeking creative ideas, thinking about what would be good content, and I get emails all the time from my family, suggesting new topics. So I suppose I could say my family has helped me build this site, without knowing they were working for me! Thanks, guys ;)
