Healthy Food Recipes to Suit Everyone



This healthy food recipes section is more than just that - it's a bit of memory, a lot of creativity, and gads of excitement for and from those who love food. Along with varied recipes (an ever-expanding list), I'm going to show you how I best love to cook - WITHOUT a recipe! I'll explain what it takes to concoct a healthy dish from whatever's left in your kitchen, and you'll love my "what do you make of this" section, where you tell me the ingredients you have, and I'll come up with a way to make them into a meal!

I find cooking therapeutic, and I'm well known for making up dishes on the spot. While this is truly enjoyable for me, it sometimes makes it difficult to reproduce recipes exactly. When I give measurements in the recipes, they're usually approximate, so feel free to adapt to your individual tastes (those creative cooks out there may be thinking "isn't that the rule all the time?"). :)

Are you a newbie in the kitchen and need some cooking basics before you begin? This site will introduce you to some great cooking basics and tips.

This section is really me embarking on a huge project, which is attempting to write down 25 years worth of concocting healthy food recipes. Family and friends have been telling my I should do this for years. Yes, you were all right. It would have been much easier if I'd done it from the beginning! So I thank you, readers, for your enthusiasm and your patience. ;)

Note there is a section for vegan recipes (using no animal products) but not for vegetarian. This is because if a recipe has fish or meat, it states that (though most can be easily adapted). The rest of the recipes are vegetarian. If a recipe contains fish or meat, I'll give some suggestions on how it can be adapted for veggies.
