The Best Healthy Eating Plans are Knowledge + Common Sense

Aha! Did you really think I'd give you a choice of customized healthy eating plans, no questions asked? I suppose I could, but I don't think I'd really be helping you in the long-term.

The truth is, when we follow plans determined by someone else, we are saying that we DO NOT TRUST OURSELVES. And that is the best way to end up unhealthy, overweight, lost in the complex web of fatigue, disease, and of course, HUNGER!

If you want to mindlessly follow a plan, there are an infinite number out there to choose from, but they often lead to extremism, which, no matter how you spin it, negates health. If you really want to understand your body, your hunger, your cravings, and what's best for YOU, stick with me - we're on a heck of a journey here, and you won't want to miss it!!
My goal is for you to customize YOUR OWN healthy eating plan, so you feel empowered and not at the mercy of all the mixed messages out there...

Not sure you're ready to abandon your plan? Have a fascination with all the diets out there? I don't prescribe any one diet, as I think we're all so individual. But if you have one that REALLY works for you, and you just want to make it healthier, read on to find out how to make any diet healthy...

Make any diet healthy? Is that possible?

Sure it is! We can make any diet healthy because I think the danger in any regimen comes from a level of extremism, or fanaticism people attach to them. The key is to look for the core message of any eating plan, and incorporate that into your lifestyle.

For example, many people think that high protein diets are unhealthy. If we look at the underlying message, which is that too many refined carbohydrates aren't good for you, then we can begin to replace those with complex carbs like fruits, veggies & whole grains. Add the healthy proteins, and voila! you've used the guidelines from high-protein to re-assess what may not have been working (ie too many refined carbs). And we're one step closer to balance.
