Healthy Eating Benefits - Why It's Oh, So Worth It!

Why take the time to look at healthy eating benefits? We all know what eating poorly does for us - perhaps it's why you've sought out this site. But I prefer to focus on the positive to keep my inspiration - it's so much more fun!

In this section, we'll look at a fabulous list of healthy eating benefits you can gain from improving your diet. We'll also look at the nitty gritty truth - what healthy eating can REALLY do for you.

When I was seeing clients one-on-one, I had a client who came to me with a list of maladies. She was a doctor who led a busy lifestyle and hardly had enough energy to get up in the morning. Ironically, she'd never had nutrition studies in medical school, and she simply didn't know how to improve her diet, though she knew she wanted to. In her list of maladies, she mentioned that she was sterile, and had given up on her dream of having kids. She was ready to adopt. She wasn't even thinking this could be changed, as her doctor had said it was unalterable.

I have to say, this woman was a fabulous client - she was smart and motivated, and she ate every vegetable I told her to and more! She literally engulfed all the info I could give her and I loaned her a large chunk of my book collection to boot.

8 months after she had finished her 12 sessions with me, she showed up at my place one day in a daze. She looked amazing! She'd lost weight, her skin was glowing, and she was so serene. She said she's just come from her doctor and she was pregnant! She was positive it was due to the lifestyle changes she'd made, and she couldn't believe that it wasn't standard training in med school to have a good chunk on nutrition education.

I tell you this story to illustrate that healthy eating benefits go way beyond what may be accepted by science. What we eat and how we live affects on a cellular level, and even deeper. It can impact everything we do, and parts of us we may not even know exist. My passion for this work comes from the miracles I've seen it produce!

And if that's not enough, click here to find out why I think eating healthy is important..
